In my busy household, I squeeze in training sessions whenever I can. Sometimes, it means working with my birds in less than ideal situations with many distractions. Not something that makes for effective teaching.
This is a clip of me working smarty-pants bare-eyed cockatoo, Juice, on something new: dropping an item in a bowl. Little did I know that pesky “brother” Beans, the yellow-bibbed lory was out and about. I decided to keep on training (and filming!) to see what would happen. Must say, I am glad I did! Enjoy:
